The first edition. Grand finish Saturday 20 March 2027.

Ten years after the first Hunt 1000, the Hunt crosses Bass Strait. Hunt Tasmania runs from Devonport to Hobart — taking the long way through some of the most wild and remote country in the state.

It’s the Hunt 1000 in spirit: self-supported, unhurried, no race. Just you, a loaded bike, and a route that goes looking for the hard and beautiful corners of the island. Riders will aim for a grand finish in Hobart in mid-March 2027.

The full route stays under wraps until close to the date.
